At NIIT Foundation, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to receive unwavering support from individuals and organizations who have selflessly contributed their wealth, time, and resources to uplift and empower marginalized individuals through the support of our education and skills development initiatives.

Every October, India comes together to celebrate the spirit of giving. This year, NIIT Foundation is directing that spirit towards young changemakers through ChangeMaker Academy (CMA). ChangeMaker Academy supports young people from underserved communities to turn their business ideas into sustainable livelihoods, helping them build opportunities for themselves, their families, and their communities.
Every rupee raised this Daan Utsav will support the training, mentorship, and enterprise development of this year’s CMA cohort, helping young changemakers take their ideas forward and create sustainable livelihoods.

Dimple, a 22-year-old from Tilak Nagar, seeking greater clarity about her future, joined the ChangeMaker Academy (CMA), where her aspirations and entrepreneurial vision were shaped through self-reflection and community engagement. During a community project on plastic-free packaging, key market challenges were identified, which helped refine her business idea. As a result, Swad Niwaas, a cloud kitchen, was established, where responsibilities for cooking, operations, marketing, and customer engagement are collaboratively managed to grow through exhibitions and new opportunities.

Praveen Kumar Bandhe from Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, turned his interest in livestock farming into Mukta Dudh Dairy through NIIT Foundationʼs ChangeMaker Academy (CMA).

With strengthened entrepreneurial skills, he now provides fresh, hygienic milk to the local community while working to grow his customer base and build a sustainable livelihood.

Rebati from Bhalubhasha, Jharkhand, joined the ChangeMaker Academy (CMA) with a desire to build a more independent future while contributing to her familyʼs livelihood.

Through CMA, Rebati gained the confidence and business skills to launch Saurav & Shubho General Store. She is now growing her customer base while working towards greater financial stability for her family and community.

Growing up in a financially struggling family that moved from a small village to Sadar Bazar, Delhi, Saurabh Jaiswal learned the value of perseverance early in life.

Despite challenges, Saurabh remained committed to education, starting as a tutor after Class 12. Through NIIT Foundationʼs courses and CMA, he shaped his vision for Bloom Academy, a tuition centre focused on academics, values, and life skills. Today, he is working to create a learning space that positively impacts children in his community.
